Where does your data come from?
Data for the service is fed in from a specialist provider to ensure it is as accurate as possible. However, as there can be discrepancies between exchanges and data sources, the data must only ever be used as an indication of current market conditions. Hence, the data may differ by a few pips from your current broker/platform.
How accurate is the data source?
Mobile4X endeavours to ensure that the data used is as accurate as possible. However, as mentioned above, there can be discrepancies between exchanges and data sources and so the data must only ever be used as an indication of current market conditions. Hence, the data may differ by a few pips from your current broker/platform.
How often is the service checking the market?
The service continuously checks the markets against your alert levels while the forex markets are open, i.e from 22:00 GMT on Sunday through to 22:00 GMT on Friday.
What countries does Mobile4X cover?
We currently provide mobile coverage in over 180 countries and this is increasing all the time. To check whether we provide coverage in your location visit the demo page to send a test text.
If we do not cover your location by SMS we can still provide email alerts, which can be configured for receipt on your mobile phone.

Do you provide a local access number in my country?
Currently we offer local access numbers in the USA, Australia and New Zealand. We provide an international access number for all other countries.
Be aware that your mobile provider will charge you international rates to use the international access number. If your country is not covered and you would like it to be, please email us at support@mobile4X.com and we will see what we can do.
How reliable is the delivery of the text messages?
Due to the need for a fast and reliable service, we use the world's leading SMS gateway provider. All of our messages are delivered with the highest priority, ensuring you receive the information as quickly as possible. However, due to the nature of mobile communications once a message has been sent via our gateway we cannot guarantee delivery, as you may be out of range or your handset may be turned off.
Do you provide email alerts, updates etc?
All of our SMS services can also be provided via email. You can set your alerts or updates to be delivered by email instead of by SMS, or you can receive both.
How many alerts can you have?
You can set two alerts per currency pair at present. This enables you to set one as an inner alert and the second as an outer alert to capture the major market movements, as well as more minor ones.
How many updates can you have?
Currently there is a limit of three daily updates per currency. However, you can request as many updates as you like via SMS.
How many positions can you have?
There is no limit on the number of positions you can keep track of. Additionally all your closed positions are stored for easy access at any time.
How do I add, edit or remove an alert, update or position?

When are the daily updates sent?
Daily updates are sent Monday to Friday at a time of your choosing. Additionally you can request a market update by sending a text to your local access number at any time.
What currencies does an update contain?
Updates will provide market data for your chosen currency against the USD, EUR, JPY, CHF, GBP and AUD. If you request, or have set an update for the major currencies, you will receive an update showing the latest market levels for the EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, AUDUSD and USDJPY.
How often can I request an update?
You can request an update via SMS as many times as you like. For information on how to request an update you will need to register with the service here

How much does the service cost?
There is no charge from Mobile4X for any aspect of the service at this point. The only charges will be from your mobile phone provider if they charge you for sending or receiving texts.
